Welcome to Nimra College of Engineering & Technology
Established in 1997 under the esteemed Nimra Educational Society (NES), Nimra College of Engineering & Technology stands as a beacon of quality education in Andhra Pradesh, particularly in the coastal Andhra region. Registered under the AP Registration Act, 1350 Fasil, NES was founded by the visionary Dr. Md. Vizarath Rasool Khan and Mohammed Saqib Rasool Khan, with a noble mission to promote and popularize modern education among the masses, especially focusing on minorities.

Nimra College of Engineering & Technology, affectionately known as NIMRA, was inaugurated in the academic year 1997-98, offering a spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and MCA. Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated with JNT University Kakinada, NIMRA has been instrumental in shaping the educational landscape of the region.
Strategically located at Nimra Nagar, Jupudi Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Vijayawada, NTR Dt., Andhra Pradesh, NMRE provides easy accessibility via various modes of transportation, ensuring a seamless journey for students and visitors. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our comprehensive range of courses, including U.G Programs in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering (MECH), and more, along with P.G Programs in MBA, MCA, and M.Tech.
At NIMRA, we take pride in our esteemed faculty comprising 95 members, including 14 PhD holders, who are dedicated to fostering academic excellence and innovation. Our state-of-the-art infrastructure boasts 42 classrooms, 2 seminar halls, 34 laboratories equipped with cutting-edge technology, and a well-stocked library housing over 54,653 volumes of books and digital resources.
Moreover, NIMRA's commitment to holistic student development is evident in our extensive sports facilities spread across a lush 5-acre campus, annual events celebrating talent and innovation, and amenities like canteen, stationery, and common rooms for recreational activities.
